Information era has erupted since last two decades and organizations
today are still searching ways to cope up with the issues created by Big
data and more importantly due to bad data.
IT systems procured in silos and from different vendors have made inroads for huge amount of data flow into siloed systems. This has also changed focus of the organizations to business/revenue generation, keeping very little time for the clean data. Since this is non revenue oriented work is most often neglected and fetches least priority throughout the organization. Unless various customer facing initiatives are taken from marketing, procurement or other LOBs where you need clean data.
